YOUR STARTING LINE
A plan for the
runner you are today.
For recreational runners building toward a marathon. Tell us about the running you can already repeat, and we’ll map the weeks ahead.
Your fitness notes and journal stay in this browser. Clearing browser data removes them. Export a backup to keep a copy or move devices.

Our future pricing hypothesis: US$12/month for cloud sync, deeper reviews and calendar delivery. Those features are not available yet. We’re testing the idea, not taking payments.
OUR APPROACH
Consistency has
room for recovery.
Evenstride is an automated planning tool. It doesn’t know your full training history, your health or how ready you are to race. Its rules are conservative starting points, not individually validated coaching.
How do adjustments work?
After each logged run, we compare distance, effort and notes with your schedule. Fatigue cuts the next 7 days by 25%; extra distance or hard effort cuts the next 4 days by 15%. Multiple unlogged recent runs can reduce the next week by 15%. Cuts can compound, but the app never increases load after a single good run. Pain reports pause future running, including race day. Completed runs and past prescriptions stay in your journal.
We do not assess whether your goal pace is achievable. The taper never becomes a catch-up period. There is no automatic weekly background review.
What are the training limitations?
Not medical advice, injury rehabilitation, or a race-outcome guarantee. Stop running if you have pain and seek suitable professional advice. Short lead times and low starting volume cannot be fixed by a schedule. Our rules have not been reviewed by an individual coach for you.
General context: B.A.A. training resources and NHS running injury guidance. Our exact adjustment percentages are product heuristics, not claims from those sources.
Where is my data saved?
Your plan, fitness description and run notes are saved in this browser’s local storage. There is no account or cloud sync. Anyone using this browser profile may see them, and clearing site data removes them. Use Export backup and Restore backup to move or protect your journal. We don’t send your training entries to an AI service or collect them for analytics.
